Synopsis

Livie seems too young to be navigating the final days of Chad, her husband who’s dying from cirrhosis of the liver. With the help of Ben, who has an angle of his own, Chad uses heavy drinking to dull pain that only seems to intensify. Judith, the steady and insightful Hospice nurse, becomes aware of dynamics that keep Chad in turmoil, but undoing what’s been done seems impossible. When is a person at rest? Can it be in a lifetime?
